SALE Take a look at this really cool Vintage engraved "Grant" Lady's watch from the 1950's, with crisscross etching and a band that will fit a larger wrist. The vintage watches to me just have a look that you don't see on the newer ones, plus you never need a battery! I set the watches I have to list about an hour ago, and they are keeping perfect time so far! I hardly wound them at all, because they just don't require much, and can be wound too tightly if not careful. Even though it's running and keeping perfect time right now, I always advise the new owner to take the watch to a jeweler to have balanced or whatever they do to them, because of the movement during mailing. However, I will pack carefully so that it doesn't get jostled around inside.

The case on this really looked like gold to me, based on another I had that I knew was, so I took it to have it tested today. It was not gold, so I guess it's probably gold filled. I find no marking at all, but perhaps it's inside the case. I love that on the back, it was engraved, "L. H.-53.". The crystal is raised away from the face, which I love in the old watches. The etching on the sides look like "x" markings. It's kind of square with rounded corners, and I just love the case! There is some scratching on the crystal, and I wonder if it couldn't just use a good cleaning. I am no watch expert however, so didn't want to start trying to take it apart.

The stretch band sections are laid on the diagonal, giving it more interest. A few of them have a little wear, so you may or may not want to replace the band. I just like it the way it is. Without stretching it, I measured 7" around, so you could wear this easily is you have a medium large to large wrist.(whatever that is....not sure how to measure what would be a large wrist, but mine is larger than medium, but not huge, and it's comfortable with plenty of room).

I am always happy to combine purchases to save you on shipping, so please be sure to let me know if you are interested in other items I have listed.

Thanks so much for shopping with me, and God Bless You! May we honor Him in all we say and do!
