SALE Take a look at this primitive Kilgore Cast Iron Dollhouse High Chair from the 1920's-30's. I cannot see a marking on this one like on the other Kilgore pieces I've had, but they came from the same estate and I have seen this one attributed to Kilgore before. These Kilgore Cast Iron toys were known as "The Toys that Last."
Measuring at app. 3" tall and 1 1/2" wide, this great little doll size high chair has primitive chippy blue-grey paint, and reminds me of the way the still banks were put together. I know sometimes you find them with perfect paint, but unless they were never played with, or are new old stock, they could be repainted. I loved particularly, the look of having been enjoyed by some child in years gone by. As you can see in one of my pictures, it's just the right size to hold the miniature bisque boy doll that I have in another listing. This listing is for the doll only.
I am always happy to combine purchases to save you on shipping, so please be sure to let me know if you are interested in other items I have listed.
