SALE UNIQUE POSTCARD Postmarked 1915, her is a wonderful embossed postcard entitled "First Thanksgiving Day in Alaska 1868," with Indians, an Alaskan Huskie dog, a ship in the background, adults, children, and penguins. From Mrs. Schimmel to Mrs. Geo. Strirbing of Campbellsport, Wisconsin, this historical postcard was mailed in 1915 as a Thanksgiving wish between friends. There is only minor wear to the corners, and this is just a really neat example of the detail used on these very early postcards. You won't be disappointed to add this to your collection of seasonal or holiday cards.
