SALE 2 VINTAGE EMBROIDERY PAINTED VICTORIAN STYLE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS! \Take a look at these two vintage Victorian style Christmas ornaments, one embroidered and the other painted. I believe the white one to be the older, but not positive of that, as they were both bought from the same estate. The white one is made so that either side gives you a facial view, and it is made with satin material and stitched with golden thread outlining the designs, and adding other thread colors to embroider this delightful Old World Santa.
The green one is also stuffed, and almost feels like paper mache', but I believe it's just because of the all-over paint job that it has that puffy feel. He also is very delightful with extra puffy paint to give his long beard a dimensional feel, and his face is painted on as well, where the other Santa's face was embroidered. Not counting the thread hangers, these are app. 6" long.
I'm not sure if these were bazaar items that may have been crafted at home, or if they are just vintage store bought ones, but they definitely aren't new. I've had them several years, and purchased them from a KY estate where the lady had an abundance of holiday decorations! You won't be disappointed to hang these on your Christmas tree, or just stand them up somewhere. They would be great to add to a wreath as well!
I am always happy to combine purchases to save you on shipping, so please be sure to let me know if you are interested in other items I have listed.
Thanks so much for shopping with me, and God Bless You! May we honor him in all we say and do!
