SALE Take a look at this wonderful real photo postcard from the early 1900's, of two stout women feeding the chickens. You can see the barn to the left, and they have buckets of seed or whatever they were feeding them. They are dressed much like my Grandmother used to dress to work outside, with long dresses and long full aprons that they wore over the top of their dress. There is writing on the back of the postcard, but it is in German, so I cannot read it. :) I see the lady on the left is names Johanna but cannot make out the other lady's name. Looks like a beautiful orchard behind them, but I just love these old black and white real photo postcards. This is from a collection that I purchased at the Nashville Antique Shows a couple of years ago, and all postcards were from the very early years of 1900s, belonging to a young man in Farmington, Michigan.
