Sale Lucite Heart Red Rose Compact Brought From Japan While Serving in the Military. The lady I bought this wonderful Rose under Lucite compact from, said her brother brought it to her from Japan while he was serving in the military over 50 years ago. He brought one to her, to his sister, and one to his mother, and she has decided to let hers go now.

When I first saw it, I thought it was Mother of Pearl, but it appears to be either a dimensional red rose perhaps made of plastic or silk displayed on a shiny white surface with a domed lucite heart covering it. Or, the covering is sort of a magnifying glass. It would remind you of the way a paperweight is made.

Measuring app. 3" x 2 3/4", this compact has no puff or powder, but the mirror is still in excellent condition. You won't be disappointed to add this wonderful compact to your collection of vanity items!
