FURTHER MARKDOWN SALE on Pewter Ice Cream Mold Rose/Tulip #375! What a wonderful old Primitive ice cream mold this is. I do not know too much about them, but many were made in the late 1800's and early 1900's. This one has the number 375 on the front side between the two flowers, but on the back side, there are some more markings, including 1893. I will try to get pictures to show you the rest of the markings.
Closed, this mold measures app. 3 1/2" wide and 3 1/8" long. There are heavy duty dovetail like hinges where the front and back sides meet. I was told the pattern was rose buds, although it also looks like it could be two tulips. Either way, it's a great Primitive "small" for collectors. I also have candy molds in my shop that made the hollow chocolates, but this one is for ice cream. One side looks like there may have at one time been an extra "little" piece at the outside edge, but it stays shut perfectly, so I'm not sure what it was for if indeed it is gone. I got a great deal, so am passing it along that way as well.
I am always happy to combine purchases to save you on shipping, so please be sure to let me know if you are interested in other items I have listed.
Thanks so much for shopping with me, and God Bless You! May we honor Him in all we say and do!
