SALE ON VINTAGE POWDER TIN TINDECO LANGLOIS NEW YORK! What a darling old powder tin box! With Victorian ladies' pictured on a necklace pendant, this great tin marked TINDECO is a great example of the decorative tins used for all sorts of occasions. This one held Lavender Bath Powder, and is also marked Langlois and New York. The lid has a burgundy or wine colored band around the edge, and then the rest of it is like a creamy yellow color with ropes and flowers. When you take the lid off, you can see that it used to be much more yellow than now, but it's still very feminine looking with a wispy sort of design.
There's a ding on one side to the tin, and some scrapes or loss of paint in places, but all in all, it's still in good shape. The talcum powder tin measures 5" across and it is 2 3/4" high. What a great piece to add to your collection of tins or vanity items.
