Super fabulous Victorian double ended laydown perfume bottle with sterling silver tops. This piece is complete, one side has a hinged flip top lid in repoussed sterling silver, that opens to reveal it's original, cotton lined interior with ground glass stopper/dauber, likely for smelling salts, the other end is a sterling silver screw off top for perfume, with the lid lined in it's original cork. The body is heavily beveled cut crystal glass in a diamond pattern, with both end caps in sterling. Heavily repoussed caps in a floral pattern, both ends are un-monogrammed. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks, except the tiny dauber, which has a small chip in the end on one side where it fits into the bottle. Marked Sterling on the silver end cap smelling salt side, hard to read but definitely there and definitely Sterling silver. Tiny, minor dents in end caps, honest wear. The cut crystal body is clear and unstained. Measures 5" in length. Victorian, circa late 1800's.
