Vintage parian five finger fan vase with embossed crosshatch detail and sensuous form. The vase stands 7" tall x 8 1/4" and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. The English brought these five-fingered fan shaped vases, also known as Quintal horns, to Colonial America. They created a unique fan-shaped and narrow design style that usually included garden herbs and cuttings. This is a nice older example, marked with remnants of a paper label that is unreadable, I believe circa 1940's.
