Romantic Haviland Limoges Art Nouveau plate, hand painted with red and white poppies, trailing stems, and poppy buds against blue, yellow, peach, and sienna grounds. The plate has a scalloped rim and measures 9 1/2" in diameter. Signed and dated 1902 by the artist, A.S.K. (Alma Katiskie) and marked H & Co. L (Limoges) France, (Mark 11) a mark used by Haviland & Co. from 1888 until 1896. Excellent condition with no damage or losses and no wear to the painting. This is one of three Haviland plates painted by Alma Katiskie circa 1900 and available separately in my shop.
