Stunning Limoges Art Nouveau plate, hand painted with pink, red, and yellow roses with raised white enamel highlights painted on the petals. Lavender flowers with yellow centers circle the outer edge of the plate and the artist has painted outstanding gold Art Nouveau graphics across the plate, outlined in black penwork, and finished the piece with a gold rim. Signed by French studio artist who's signature I can't read but have pictured. The plate is in absolutely excellent condition with no damage or losses and no wear to the painting or the elaborate gold. It measures 8 1/2" in diameter and is factory marked Limoges France, (Mark 6) used circa after 1891 and studio decorating mark Hand Painted T&V Limoges France, (Mark 16) a mark used by Tressemann & Vogt from 1907 until 1919, with this piece dating to the earlier part of that period.
