Romantic Bavarian Art Nouveau plate, artfully hand painted with a yellow iris and purple violets. The artist has painted a ribbon all around the inner rim of the piece, tied in a bow, and gilded the outer rim with gold. The plate is 8 1/2" in diameter and is in excellent condition with no damage or losses and no wear to the gold rim. Signed by the artist, Miner, and marked PT Bavaria with a crown and shield, a mark used by the Tirschenreuth Porcelain Factory starting in 1903 until 1918, when Bavaria became part of Germany. Circa 1910.
