Rare RS Prussia invalid feeder. This very pretty piece is also unusual because it is completely hand painted since it is one of their earlier pieces. It stands 2 1/2" tall x 4 1/4" wide, or from the spout to the back of piece, since the handle is on the side. RS Prussia never marked their invalid feeders, and so this piece is unmarked. The painted decor is documented by Lee Marple in his book, RS Prussia The Formative Years. This piece is in good condition with no damage, slight wear to the gold highlights along the spout and handle and most of the gold worn along the rim. Circa 1888.
