Beautiful Victorian plate hand painted with currants and leaves against a background of pink, yellow, and blue, with a wide peach border and gold bands on the inner and outer rim. Painted by Paul P. Gasper at Pickard Studios in Chicago, Illinois. Paul Gasper worked at Pickard from 1903 until 1919. The plate is marked Hand Painted W.A. Pickard China with gold maple leaf, used from 1912-1918, and is signed by Gasper with his initials, P.G. It measures 8 3/4" in diameter and is in excellent condition with no damage, losses, or wear.
