Lovely vintage pair of German parian busts, boy and girl. Modeled after the Meissen pair of boy and girl busts, these are marked only with a model number and are of German origin. Identical to the Meissen pair in most every aspect, this pair of busts was produced by many porcelain manufacturers, not just Meissen, as they were quite popular and well loved. Beautifully detailed with gold painted around the bases. The boy looks to the left, the girl looks to the right. They are both in excellent condition, circa 1920-1940. The girl stands 8" tall with her upswept hair, with ribbon and bow. The boy stands just over 7 1/2" tall. They can be displayed looking toward each other or looking away. The boy is 4 3/4" wide with his ruffled collared waistcoat with two buttons. The girl is 4 1/2" wide, both standing on gold lined plinths. Beautiful for display.
