Elegant Flow Blue Imperial China milk pitcher in the Arcao pattern, produced by Dunn Bennett & Company in Burslem, Staffordshire, England. The flowers appear to be peonies and wrap all around the piece, including on the spout and handle. The spout is molded with a shell shape and there are embossed smaller shells around the scalloped base. The pitcher is abundantly painted with gold highlights with heavy gold painted around the rim and base, it stands 7 1/8" tall. It has a pleasing bulbous shape and is marked with Dunn Bennett's pottery mark used from 1875-1907. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
