Super fabulous Victorian Art Nouveau brass tray, heavily embossed with a lovely lady with flowing hair and surrounded by beautiful flowers. The lady is reminiscent of those painted by Alphonse Mucha, in which he incorporated flowing maiden's hair into flowers and scrolls. I have had these trays before, but they are becoming harder and harder to find especially in this pristine condition. Both trays are perfect and in gleaming brass, perfect for jewelry, trinkets, or receiving cards. The trays are heavily detailed with exaggerated scalloped edges all around. Each measures 5" in length and just over 3 1/4" wide. There are two available, price is for one card tray only. Circa 1890.
