This is a nice Limoges dresser box, circa 1900. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks but does have some wear to the gold trim around the edge and handle. The piece has been in service for at least the last hundred years and still is the perfect receptacle for anything from barrettes to cotton balls. It is a hexagon or eight-sided and is nice and deep, a utilitarian piece that was made to be used and enjoyed every day. It is decal decorated with blue painted corners. A very pretty box from Limoges, France. The factory mark is worn but still readable. The piece stands about 3" tall and measures 4" x 4". This is a utility box you can enjoy every day, just as the Victorians did. Shipping for this piece is FREE.
