ALL Minton majolica oyster plates in the 1323 mold are most desirable and collectible
However, the rarest, hardest to find and most expensive to produce is YELLOW!
Next, is cobalt, then, lilac, pink and others with green being the most common,
but quite desirable nonetheless!
Look closely at this Yellow Minton oyster plate in the 1323 mold
Having the usual six wells with round center sauce
All separated by seashells seaweed.
Please note the tiny specks of green/blue glaze showing through the yellow glaze on the front
Yellow was the most difficult color to produce, as detected here
