A rare red and black Bull’s Eye Spatterware Cup Plate, 3 ¾” in diameter. The little plate has strong color and nicely centered bull’s eye. Shiny glaze and excellent condition with only a tiny, shallow flake on the foot rim. There are no maker’s markings, but the plate probably dates c. 1830-1840. It is from an important California Collection of American Historical Staffordshire Cup Plates and Spatterware Cup Plates; check my other Ruby Lane listings or contact me if you are looking for anything specific.
