A very small English Salt Glaze cream jug (or pitcher), 2 7/8” high and 1 7/8” in diameter at the top; the handle to spout distance is about 2 ½”! Decorated with polychrome incised flowers in shades of blue, yellow, pink and orange, and there is a large blue flower under the spout. The inside of the rim also has floral decoration. This creamer, although not identical in decoration, is probably a mate or part of the same set as the small salt glaze teapot I have listed in my Ruby Lane Shop.
This creamer is in excellent condition: no chips, cracks, lines or restorations. The handle is undamaged and the enamel decoration is strong and complete. Not maker’s mark, but it does have a sticker from the Polikoff Collection.
