A small, oval English Creamware Platter, 11” x 9 ¼”, with a wavy edge and molded lines that follow the profile of the platter. The platter, which dates c. 1820, perhaps a bit earlier, has a fairly deep well (about 5/8”). It is in very fine condition: nice buttery color with crisply molded perimeter lines. No maker’s markings. The only issue, if it can be called that, is a tiny flick or nick (perhaps 1/16”) on one of the short edges (see photograph). Clean and ready to use, if you are so inclined.
