This Bluebill Duck Decoy has its original comb painted surface and finely carved features, glass eyes and original lead weight. I don’t think it has ever been shot-over and it probably dates to the mid-20th century. 9 ½” body length and about 7” to the top of the head. Nicely shaped body and head. No signature (too bad because it is a bird worthy of an identifiable carver). Excellent condition with no splits, cracks, etc. Paint is virtually complete with only some very light rubbing on the cheeks and the top of the head.
