A hexagonal Wedgwood Creamware Dish with scalloped edges, ribbed and sloping sides and a very pleasing shape. The dish dates c. 1820 and measures about 9 ¼” across and 1 3/8” high. Footed base. The Wedgwood mark is quite faint (and probably not photograph-able). The dish is in excellent condition. No cracks, lines, restorations, etc. and the only chip is a very small one on the foot rim (the edge that touches the table). A nice example of an elegant early 19th century piece of English Creamware. One of several period English Creamware pieces that can be found in my Ruby Lane Shop.
