A mid-19th century Staffordshire Child’s Mug title “Actors. The brown transfer shows an elaborate balcony setting with a man and a woman. “Actors” is printed in the bottom center of the scene. The mug is 2 3/8” tall and 2 ½” in diameter. It is in very fine condition: clean and free of chips, cracks, lines, etc. Museum collection numbers on the bottom but no indication as to which pottery made it. A nice piece for someone’s theatrical collection.
