From the Wild Rose Border Series by Andrew Stevenson, the tray to a gravy tureen showing a view of Redgrave Hall, Suffolk. The scene shows a very bucolic setting, with large manor houses and cattle, and there is a bold wild rose border. The piece dates c. 1825 and is marked with a blue cartouche: Redgrave Hall. There is also a Stevenson impressed crown mark.
The tray measures 7 ¼" from handle to handle and 5 ¾" wide. It displays very nicely, with good color and a clear transfer. There is a thin ¾" hairline, only faintly visible on the front (a bit more pronounced on the back), but no other chips, cracks, lines, etc.
