Two 7 ½” English Creamware Plates with Green Shell Edges, dating c. 1800, perhaps a bit earlier. Strong green enameling and attractive scalloped edges. Both are marked (faintly) “Wedgwood” along with an impressed “E” and possibly and “S”; the other plate has only a green enameled mark. Both plates are in excellent condition: they are very thinly potted, clean and crisp with no chips, cracks, lines, or restorations, only a few tiny edge flicks. I have 2 others (not listed) in case you are looking for a set of 4.
