This is a very unique and fabulous brooch made by Vogue Jewelry. First these rhinestone groupings are lifted up by coils of gold tone metal work that looks like little springs. At each corner of the rectangle is a trio of large monochromatic colored chaton rhinestones in Aqua, Jonquil, Amethyst and Sun color. Throughout the center is groupings of white "flowers" consisting of a central chaton surrounded by a ring of smaller chatons. There are 7 flower groupings altogether. All the larger chatons are prong set with the colored stones held in my many prongs. There is a roll over safety catch and this is marked Vogue and something illegible underneath which is most likely Jewelry. This is circa 1940. There was a small period of time where these springs were used. I have a fur clip with this exact same manufacturing style and have had a dress clip from the same period. I show a photo of my Fred Block clip only to show the similarity. This clip is not for sale.
SIZE & CONDITION: This is slightly over 2" high by 1 1/2" wide and is in very good condition. There is some slight wear to the gold tone. All the rhinestones are sparkling.
