This beautiful 1940's signed Simmons crystal bead necklace is strung on a fine gold-filled chain, as well as the hook clasp and spacers are gold-filled. It has beautiful and unusual graduated hexagon shaped crystals. Largest in center is 12mm, smallest is approximately 6-7mm. It measures 15" long and has a pretty crystal dangle at the end. Rondelle spacer beads and gold filled or plated spacers are between each hexagon crystal. The signature is, Simmons, the famous jewelry house well known for their gold, gold-filled and gold plated jewelry and watch related items, on the attached closed jump ring end of the clasp for the old style spring ring without the thumb catch. This necklace displays no wear to the gold-filled finish and under close inspection you will see a tiny nick or two on the beads, nothing in our opinion that detracts from the necklace.
