This sterling silver Mexican ring has a stunning and unusual black labradorite cabochon and a graceful flowing open work silver design. The black oval 15mm long stone has a lovely iridescent glow which is why "black moonstone" is a misnomer for darkened variety of labradorite from Myanmar. This stone has wonderful mystical qualities attached to it which you can easily research on the web. The sterling has nice dark patina from age and has not been polished. It is marked, "Mexico 925" and has the artists' initials as well as an eagle mark, but I can't make out the exact letters and numbers of them. The ring is size 6 and is in excellent condition.
