From a local estate comes this wonderful vintage large salad serving spoon made in Mexico by F. Ramirez of Mexico City who was a student of Hector Aguilar. This dates to the 1950's Modernist period and the pattern is styled after Georg Jensen's Danish Modern "Blossom" pattern. It is in great shape with no monograms and has very light normal vintage wear; it is freshly hand polished. It is stamped in a triangle "Hecho en Mexico D.F, 0.925, F. Ramirez and Sterling" as pictured, plus has an Eagle 1 mark dating it 1948-1969. The spoon is 8 3/4" long and weighs a hefty 92 grams.
This is a very reasonable price, so please consider it FIRM.
