This is a very unusual and elegant sterling silver flower bouquet brooch from the WWII years 1940-1945 when costume jewelry was made of sterling because the cheaper metals all went to make ammunition to fight the war. This pin is large measuring over 4 1/2" tall. The filigree flowers all have prong-set clear rhinestones on thin, sterling wire stems that can be bent into whatever shape you desire. There is a heavy stem and leaves, and the pin back it marked, "Sterling". It is in excellent condition with some darkening of the rhinestones. It has not been polished and retains all of its original warm patina.
