This gorgeous, sparkling signed Coro necklace is the 1955 Coro "Honore" necklace as advertised, "Fashionable Gifts You Know She Will Love." It is shown in Julia Carroll's book, "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" on page 118. The necklace patent, design number 175952, was granted November 1, 1955 and was registered to Adolph Katz.
The necklace has a lovely floral centerpiece, and this example is done in all clear rhinestones. The metal is a bright gold-tone. The necklace is 16" long - 13" long plus an additional 3" extender to adjust it with a hook. The center design section is about 4" wide with a curve to it. This necklace at 60 years of age has no signs of any wear (I wish the same could be said of me), and I don't even see any dark stones. It is from the estate of a very passionate costume jewelry collector who took excellent care of her large collection.
