This exquisite antique Victorian era locket from the 1880's is solid 14k yellow gold and set with a gorgeous pink sapphire. There are five tiny seed pearls above the sapphire. It measures 1 5/8" long which does not count the bail. The back is engraved with a three letter monogram. It opens to reveal two photo compartments with no covers or frames. It weighs 10.8 grams and has no marks, but was carefully acid-tested and is guaranteed to be 14k gold and the stone to be a sapphire, approximately 1/4 carat.
The back has a few very faint dents which are not distracting, and several seed pearls have surface wear. There is no other damage or wear. Please excuse the reflections in the last picture of the reverse side as it has a high shine. It will arrive gift boxed.
