Offered for sale is a pair of charming vintage Mexican sterling silver cat pins by artist Horacio de la Parra and signed Parra as pictured. Brilliant blue rhinestones embellish the cat’s eyes, so they are probably Siamese like the lazy "helper" sleeping in the box. The pins measure approximately 1 1/8" long by about 5/8" tall. They are both in excellent condition and have not been polished, so have a warm patina which is consistent with age. Together they weigh 6 grams. The back is stamped “Parra” with the old eagle mark #34, "Mexico", and 925 for sterling.
