Fresh from a local estate is this exquisite necklace from the 1970's Art Deco Revival period. It features a rectangular pendant of solid 18k white and yellow gold set with yellow and white diamonds plus three center rubies. The pendant measures 1" long including the diamond studded bail. Set in white gold around the edges of the pendant are twenty-eight round white diamonds each approximately one point each; the bail has four more, all slightly larger. Framing the center rubies are six fancy yellow diamond set in yellow gold, each approximately 1.5 points. The estimated diamond weight is approximately 33 points or 1/3 carat. There are three rectangular rubies in the center. The bail is marked as pictured, "750" (European mark for 18k gold), plus there is a star type hallmark with an "R". The pendant is open-work and hollow with a filigree back. The 18" long white gold tiny ball chain is marked, "14K' and "Italy". It is in excellent condition with no damage or wear and weighs 4.7 grams.
