This gorgeous Victorian era antique spoon is made of sterling silver with a detailed design of the nation's capitol building in the bowl. The handle is of the Washington monument and has twisting garlands. One of the garlands has an acorn and oak leaf design and the other has a laurel leaf design. The spoon measures 4 1/8" long and is in excellent condition with no damage or wear, and has been polished. It is marked STERLING PAT. NOV. 18 90. It is engraved on the back on the handle with three initials only that look like, "ESJ".
