Just found in a local Pennsylvania estate is this very hard to find double photo locket from the Victorian Etruscan period 1850-1880. Done in solid 15k yellow gold (carefully acid tested, but not marked), it has a solid draped bar on the front of rose gold, and incredibly fine Etruscan style bead work and scrolls. It opens to reveal two tintypes of an attractive couple; they have not been removed from the frames. It measures 2 1/4" long which includes the bail. This locket is in truly amazing condition, as is its original cardboard box from the jeweler, as pictured. Found in an old bank deposit box, it looks like this locket was never worn much, if at all.
