Offered for your collecting pleasure is this exquisite 1920's sterling silver camphor glass necklace and earrings set. This set is quite unusual as the center camphor glass area is surrounded by a frame of green vaseline, or uranium, glass. Also, there is more of the green Vaseline glass in the bail and on three little links on the 16" long neck chain. There are tiny paste stones (glass) in the centers of the camphor glass areas, as well as six more that are bezel-set in the neck chain and bail. Plus, the filigree is exceptionally fine and detailed. I fully expected the metal to be platinum, that's how superb this set is, but it is marked, "Sterling" on both the pendant and clasp. I have converted the earrings to sterling French wires for your wearing comfort, but will include the original screw-backs as pictured. And if you want them re-attached, just let me know and I will do so.
The necklace is 16" around the neck, plus the drop adds another 2 1/4". The pendant itself, without the bail, measures 1" x 1 1/2". The earrings are 1 1/2" from the top of the French wires, but without the wires measure just 1/2" x 5/8". All pieces are in excellent condition without any wear or damage. This is an outstanding, elegant Jazz Age demi parure! It will arrive gift boxed.
