Offered for sale is this antique 1870's-1880's Victorian era gold-tone mesh bracelet with a rolled gold slide. In the Victorian period, a very thin layer of gold was applied on top of another metal and was called, "rolled gold"; today we might call it gold-filled, or even gold plated, although rolled gold is a heavier layer of gold than these nearer versions. This slide itself has an Aesthetic Period design and is slightly rose gold colored while the mesh bracelet is more yellow gold which makes for an interesting look. The bracelet is adjustable by sliding through the buckle. It will fit wrists from 6 1/2" - 7 1/2". It is in excellent condition.
