Here is a gorgeous sparkler for your collection of fine Trifari jewelry, fresh from the local estate of a woman who wore the best in fashion jewelry throughout the past five decades. This brooch is both an ad and book piece and was featured in a 1961 ad for Trifari known as the "Memo to a smart woman" ad. This piece was also featured in Julia Carroll's book "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" where she writes, "this advertisement features some of the most beautiful Trifari jewelry produced in the 1960s".
Deep purple and light blue rhinestones are set in bright gold colored metal, and they are extraordinary brilliance, even for Trifari. It is signed: Trifari with the crown as pictured, and measures 2 1/8" wide. It is in Excellent Condition with NO wear = a real treasure!
