This demi parure is unlike anything I've encountered before, it is truly incredible. Probably inspired by a combination of many things, such as abstract art, hippie era flower power, post-modern impressionism, I honestly believe the designer was either on acid (LSD, it WAS the 60's after all) or it just looked A LOT better on paper...anyway, we have a gold-tone brooch and earring set signed Vendome, Coro's high end company. The 2" pin has two flowers, molded yellow art glass leaves, and various rhinestones on stems and/or prong-set, PLUS we have the big faux amber glass nugget stuck in this mish-mash, willy-nilly. The poor little 1" earrings are the same thing in a much smaller version, thank Heavens, as they are an assault on the ears. They all have the gold-tone filigree backing, and are correctly signed. It appears as if the set was never worn, (can I wonder WHY?!) as it is in like-new condition. Pardon my judgment of this design as it's only my opinion and relatively simple taste, nothing more:) - you may love it and offer it a good home! I bet it is rare and quite collectible.
