This is a very beautiful, sparkling, and showy vintage 1950's bracelet and clip earrings demi parure with big prong-set chaton rhinestones in hot pink and gray olive green. The 7 1/4" long bracelet is almost 1" wide, and the earrings are 1 1/2" long and the clips are signed, "LaRel". The bracelet has a very secure push-pin clasp and appears to have one stone replaced, but you won't notice it unless you examine it closely. Otherwise the set is excellent.
La Rel is the name for La Rel Originals from New York City in 1953. The company manufactured an assortment of rhinestone jewelry in traditional designs with above average quality, and is not very common on the market. Usually marked “La Rel” or “La Rel Originals”. Because this company is not well known, quality pieces can often be had at bargain prices.
