In fantastic condition and over 125 years old. Bright lithographed colors and plenty of gilding. The only wear is to the edges of the lid. The graphics are superb! The circular image shows polo players on their polo ponies in mid match. Polo mallets, pennants and stirrups decorate the left side of the circle. Two sides show images of the contents which were cream filled wafers. The other 2 sides show the factory and town. Please see my combo photo. I would date this tin biscuit box c1890 possibly slightly earlier. No dents, gouges or rust. Slight surface marks here and there. A killer, hard to find good sporting tin. Displays like a dream!
