Quite an assembly of characters! The historic birthplace of the Royal Canadian Air Force, CFB Borden is the largest training facility in the Canadian Forces. (credit Wikipedia) The full title of this 8" x 10" glossy photo reads: "Bayonet Fighting & Physical Training Class Camp Borden 1916". The photo could have been taken today, the attire and hair styles are totally modern. The guys in my gym look like that, mind you, not nearly as interesting as this group. The good looks and stare of the center front soldier is mesmerizing. Note that in addition to the rifles with fixed bayonets 2 well used wire face masks are displayed. The photo is in excellent condition and nicely focused & exposed. I don't know if this is the original frame, it appears to be of earlier vintage. There are no names on the mount's reverse. The photo with mat measures 13.25" x 11" with frame 18.5" x 16.5".
