Belladora Antiques
is now SOLDThis pair of vintage American Native bookends is known as "Appeal to the great Spirit". It was designed by the sculptor Cyrus Edwin and often impressed with his initials CED. This pair is unmarked or I haven't found those initials. There are 2 version of slightly different design. The Indian Brave in this one has his arm lowered, the other version has them raised almost half way. Both are in very good condition with just minor nicks here and there. They measure 7 1/2" high.
