This great looking silver plated Tennis Trophy stands 15 3/8" high to the top of the handles and its winner's decals date from 1931 - 1958.
I should mention that the 1931 winner was a D. Grant who could very well have been a descendant of General and later President Ulysses S. Grant since his only daughter Nellie Grant Sartoris Jones had a mansion in Cobourg, a town near Port Hope on Lake Ontario. The historic house is now Villa St. Joseph. operated by the Sisters of St. Joseph as a retreat.
The Trophy Cup is in fine condition with no major issues. Most of the plating has worn off the shields but the trophy itself retains it 100%. FREE SHIPPING.
