9" x 6" x 2.5" has 25 pages each holding 4 CDVs for a total of 100.
This antique photo album was made by Wm. Flint of No. 807 Market Street, Philadelphia. Fancy gilded inside cover page with handwritten ink inscription as shown. Clean index, was never filled in. Very clean pages, no foxing, no tears. All square openings indicating an early manufacturing date. The embossed leather cover boards retain their fine gilded outlines. All pages are hinged allowing for easy turning of pages. The brass hardware is all there and in working order. 2 images came with it.
The album has had a leather repair to its spine which was meant to strengthen it rather than repair covers that had separated. The inside paper cover pages were replaced by a professional bookbinder. The album is exactly how it came to me. It is sound, attractive to look at and a pleasure to handle.
