Antique Native Beaded Iroquois Match Holder Dated 1902
This is the larger one of the 2 I am offering today. Please see last photo. This antique Iroquois beaded match holder is in fabulous condition just needing 2 tassels, a new hanger, a few edge beads and a few top beads of the 2 pocket circles. Those beads had to be glued on, no stitching on was possible, please see photo #3. All else is great. No fading, no holes in the fabric backing. Pearl took good care of the gift her mother H. Downs presented her with. See note on reverse. According to the tag attached to it, this lovely beaded whimsy came from a Tillsonburg Estate, an area that used to be Tobacco land in Southern Ontario, Canada. 8 3/4" high x 6 3/4" wide not counting the tassels. A beauty! FREE SHIPPING
